A Play of Scarves and Statements

Salam. We promised minutes and minutes it is. Recently we've noticed this statement necklaces trend, and guess what we are absolutely in love with it.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOGRAPHS USED IN THIS POST DO NOT BELONG TO US. WE DO NOT OWN THEM.
THEY BELONG SOLELY TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER

Yes, celebrities wear them and we love them. Of course, wearing the hijab you can't really show off your statement necklaces, but no worries thanks to the ever so dedicated hijabistas out there we have found ways of wearing your statement necklaces and showing them off as well.

We won't be able to post any photographs of bloggers and hijabistas wearing them because well, we are afraid of copyright issues and all...

But, we can tell you how, and try to give you a gist of it. Firstly, you could tie a turban and wear like collared shirt to cover your chest and tuck the statement necklace neatly under the collar.
You could also tie a normal hijab style, whichever you normally do and place the statement necklace above the headscarf, so it sits nicely and can be very well seen. We have yet to try this trend out (we have no appropriate place to try it out yet) so when we do we will be sure to post pictures of them.

We all know that just because we choose modesty it does not mean we can't be modestly fashionable as well.

Our next post might be about inspiring muslimah stories, we might randomly pick one, or we would choose random topics like, a kick start on choosing to become a hijabi, like accepting
your new look and all that awesome juice.

*Please be warned that this blog is solely our very own views of being a hijabi and a fellow muslimah, we do not condone  any type of rude comments of feedback. If you do have something  important and useful to say that you think might not be appropriate to declare in public, please e-mail us and advice us in a respectful manner. Thank You. :) We do like to hear feedbacks because it helps us grow and become better people.

Take care.

The Hijabti Sisters.
